This guide will introduce to you to the variety of Reference Management Software NTU Library supports and give you tips on how to make the most out of them.

Introduction to Zotero

Zotero is a free, easy to use reference management software that enables users to collect, organize and use their references in their academic writings.

It can be easily downloaded from the official website here:

Zotero can be downloaded freely from the website directly:

You can also install the Chrome Connector which allows you to export references from your browser into your Zotero Collection in the Chrome Webstore.

Consultation with NTU Librarians

Consultation is open to NTU students and staff who are existing Zotero users who wish to learn specific software features or have specific enquiries.

This Introduction to Zotero workshop will introduce some of the key functions of Zotero such as:

  • installing Zotero,
  • adding citations to your Zotero library,
  • organizing and managing your citations
  • using the Microsoft Word plug-in to insert citations from Zotero into your documents
