About DR-NTU

What is DR-NTU?
DR-NTU, the Digital Repository of NTU, is to capture, store and showcase the scholarly outputs of Nanyang Technological University (NTU). By showcasing and disseminating the research outputs of NTU researchers and students, DR-NTU aims to increase the visibility of NTU's research and facilitate research collaboration.

Who can contribute?
All NTU staff and students, including faculty, researchers, staff, graduate students and undergraduates, are required to submit their scholarly outputs to DR-NTU. Contributors to the repository must be members of the NTU community at time of publication or submission and have valid NTU network accounts to deposit works in the repository.

What can be deposited?
The Library seeks to capture and deposit all scholarly outputs by NTU staff and students. The Library reserves the rights not to accept materials that are not appropriate for the repository. The accepted content are:

  • Deposited content can be scholarly, creative and research-related resources.
  • Deposited content should be in a completed state, rather than in-progress and regularly updated.
  • Contributors must be willing and able to grant the University the non-exclusive rights to both archive and make their works available through DR-NTU.
  • Deposited content must be in a digital format.
  • If the deposited content is part of a series, other works in that series should also be deposited when possible so that we can offer a full and complete collection.

In addition to the NTU community’s work, DR-NTU also curates research outputs that may not be created by NTU community but organized or published by NTU communities, such as conference proceedings organized by NTU schools or journal published by NTU faculty or departments.
