This guide will introduce you to the variety of Reference Management Software NTU Library supports and give you tips on how to make the most out of them.

Reference Management Software Workshops

NTU Library offers workshops for EndNote, Mendeley and Zotero. To register for the respective workshops, please click on the registration links below.

EndNote Workshops

The introduction to EndNote Workshops covers:

1. Creating an EndNote library 

  • Export references 
  • Import PDFs
  • Groups to manage references

2. Writing and Citing with EndNote

  • Adding in-text citations and references
  • Editing references
  • Formatting bibliographies
  • Converting to plain text

3. Sync and Collaboration feature 

NTU Library organises regular workshops for EndNote on the Windows platform. As this is an activity-based sessions, participants are encouraged to attend on time.

Mendeley Workshops

The Introduction to Mendeley Workshop covers:

  • Creating a Mendeley account and installing Mendeley Desktop
  • Adding, editing and organising references using Mendeley
  • Managing PDF documents with Mendeley
  • Exploring the collaborating and social networking features in Mendeley

The Introduction to Zotero Workshop covers: 

  • Installing Zotero
  • Adding citations to your Zotero library
  • Organising and managing your citations
  • Using the Microsoft Word plug-in to insert citations from Zotero into your documents
