Planning your research is one of the most important phases of the lifecycle.  This phase involves several activities such as:

  • defining the research project management; problem discovery and definition
  • designing your research
  • scanning the industrial / business environment
  • writing your research grant proposals
  • getting funding for your research projects
  • conducting a literature review
  • writing your literature review
  • creating your data management plan
