Uninstall any trial/earlier EndNote versions and restart your computer before installing the current version. Do ensure that you have saved or made a backup copy of your EndNote libraries and other EndNote associated files such as customised citation styles, import filters and connection files. Use standard browsers such as Google Chrome, Safari or Firefox, when downloading the EndNote Windows version. Product Key is not required during the installation process. If you are prompted, please ensure that you have unzipped the folder before running EndNote.msi. |
Here are the steps to download:
For Window users, click on EndNote.msi from the unzipped folder and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
For Mac users, download the EndNoteSiteInstaller.dmg to your Downloads folder (or folder of your choice), double-click on EndNoteSiteInstaller.dmg.
For this workshop, please ensure that you have MS Teams available on your laptop/desktop. For NTU staff and students, please click here to register for workshop dates and registration details.We will email you the link to join in MS Teams as shown in the example below. Once you are in MS Teams, simply click ‘Join Now’.

All EndNote participants will receive an email with the link to join in MS Teams.
As this is an activity-based workshop. please ensure that you join the online session at the appointed time and date.
There will be two hands-on activities. The instructor will first explain and demo, after which participants will asked to complete the hands-on activity.
Participants may be asked to share screen during class activities.
Mute the microphone at all times. If you need to speak, kindly indicate in the chat box. Remember to introduce yourself to the instructor and class before you ask questions. We encourage all participants to post any questions via the chat feature available.
All students are expected to complete the EndNote Interactive as a pre-class activity before attending the EndNote workshop. EndNote Interactive is a short self-paced simulation-training. It should take around 10 minutes.
To access ‘EndNote Interactive’ enroll to Digital Learning at NTU Library:
Step 1: Login to NTULearn

Step 3: Click on the Click here to enroll link
Step 4: Click on the button on the left side of page as shown below:
Step 5: Once you have enrolled, you should be able to access to the Digital Learning at NTU Library course site (EndNote Interactive)
Step 6: Click on the EndNote Interactive link to start.
