Linda CHEN is a lawyer with extensive experience of more than 30 years supporting public and private sector organisations in Singapore across various industries. In the last 15 years, she has been closely involved in the healthcare sector, having served as General Counsel of the Health Sciences Authority before moving to her current role as Director, Research Compliance in NUS. In both these organisations, she implemented programmes and guidelines to help researchers navigate and comply with the Human Biomedical Research Act 2015. She also oversees the Research Data Management Policy in NUS.
Dr Navin Kumar VERMA completed his PhD and postdoctoral training in Clinical Medicine at Trinity College Dublin, Ireland. In 2014, Dr Verma joined Lee Kong Chan School of Medicine, Nanyang Technological University Singapore, where he is currently an Associate Professor of Immunology and Cell Biology. His research is focused on T-cell immunology implicated in wound healing and cancer, and has published over 100 papers, which are widely cited with h-index of 37. He has filed 5 patents and won several national and international awards for his work. He is also an elected Fellow of the Royal Society of Biology, UK.
YEO Pin Pin is the Head of Research Services at the Singapore Management University Libraries. She oversees the Research Publications in the SMU research management system, institutional repository and data repository. She has an interest in bibliometrics and is involved in measuring citation impact of SMU publications and unique author identification. She has published in library journals and presented at various library conferences.
Meryl CHIN is a Librarian with NTU Library's Open Science and Research Services team and is involved with developing open science initiatives, providing consultation, instruction, and workshops to the NTU research community. She provides guidance on open access publishing, as well as bibliometrics and research data management support services.
