Labour Market Statistical Information

Singapore Statutes Online
This website by Singapore government provides free access to Singapore's legislation, including various Acts (e.g Immigration Act, Internal Security Act, etc.) and Subsidiary Legislations. The site is also continuously updated by the government.
Official Reports on Parliamentary Debates (Hansard)
Provides (as much as possible) verbatim transcripts of all speeches and debates made in the Chamber. The Reports found here date as far back as 1955. A sitting Report is made available 7 working days after the adjournment of a sitting.
Bills Introduced
A Bill is a draft law. It becomes an Act of Parliament after it has been passed by Parliament and received the President’s assent.
Papers Presented to Parliament
Contains records that were formally presented to Parliament. Papers Presented are classified into one of these six categories: Command Paper, Parliamentary Paper, Statutory Paper, Subsidiary Legislation Paper, Presidential Council Paper and Miscellaneous Paper. They include annual reports of statutory boards, town councils and government-managed endowment funds, reports of Select Committees of Parliament, legislation and Government White Papers.

Global Economic Monitor (GEM) by World Bank
The Global Economic Monitor (GEM) provides daily updates of global economic developments covering developed as well as developing countries in data and briefs. Daily data is provided for exchange rates, equity markets, interest rates, stripped bond spreads, commodity prices and emerging market bond indices. Monthly data is provided for consumer prices, high-tech market indicators, industrial production and merchandise trade, etc. Quarterly data is provided for GDP, current account balances, and budget balances. All data sets are updated each weekday.
International Financial Statistics
The IFS database covers approximately 200 countries and areas. Topics covered include balance of payments, commodity prices, exchange rates, fun position, interest rates, international transactions, and so on. Data available starting in the 1948 for IMF member countries, varies by country.

United Nations Commodity Trade Statistics Database (UN Comtrade)
The United Nations Commodity Trade Statistics Database (UN Comtrade) contains detailed imports and exports statistics reported by statistical authorities of close to 200 countries or areas. It is a depository of international trade data with more than 1.1 billion data records, grouped by commodity and country. Commodities are classified according to SITC, the Harmonized System (HS) and Broad Economic Categories (BEC).

Monthly Bulletin of Statistics Online
The Monthly Bulletin of Statistics Online presents current economic and social statistics for more than 200 countries and territories of the world. It contains 55 tables, comprising over 100 indicators, of monthly, quarterly and annual data on a variety of subjects illustrating important economic trends and developments, including population, industrial production indices, price indices, employment and earnings, energy, manufacturing, transport, construction, international merchandise trade, finance and national accounts.

Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR)
