Writing Academic Reports

Ask yourself these two questions first:

  Who are you aiming to reach with your report?


 What is the change that you would like to see from the recommendations in your report?

This guide will help to guide you on the requirements for your report as well as to provide you resources to find more information. You can find more information by navigating to the relevant tabs on the left.

  1. Structure of an Academic Report - use this tab to find the sections for your academic report and what each section should contain
  2. Information Resources - Suggestions on some Library Resources to discover the necessary information
  3. Citing Sources - Part of academic writing is to ensure citations are done properly. This tab will show you a recommended tool as well as tips on citation styles
