As the Deputy Director and Team Lead for the Open Science and Research Services Team, she is responsible for overseeing strategic initiatives aimed at promoting Open Science and providing valuable research services to the NTU research community. Her role encompasses various aspects, such as providing guidance for research data management plan writing, sharing of best practices for data/code/method sharing, supporting open access publications, monitoring research impact and journal metrics, generating citation reports, and enhancing research visibility.

Su Nee's library management experience includes bibliographic services, subject librarianship, library facilities planning, scholarly communication, copyright, and research data management services. She is currently a member of the following groups:
Her past work experience includes 3 years of teaching experience with the Diploma in Information Studies/Management programme in Temasek Polytechnic. She served as Vice President of the Information & Knowledge Management Society of Singapore in 2005-6 and Assistant Honorary Secretary of Library Association of Singapore in 2001.
In addition to her library portfolio, she served as the Secretariat for the NTU Provost's Council 2020-2022.
Su Nee was awarded the Commendation Medal by the President of the Republic of Singapore as part of the National Day Honours in 2017.
She was also awarded the LAS-APBSLG (SG) (Library Association of Singapore - Asia Pacific Business School Librarians' Group Singapore) Passion Award in 2020.
