Su Nee is a Deputy Director and Team Lead for the Open Science and Research Services Team. She currently leads the Team in the strategising of Open Science advocacy and research services that support the NTU research community in fulfilling institutional, funder and journal research data requirements and the adoption of international best practices. Additionally, her Team is in-charge of Promotion and Tenure Citation Report Services.

Professional Experience, Specialisation & Memberships

Su Nee's library management experience includes bibliographic services, subject librarianship, library facilities planning, scholarly communication, copyright, and research data management services. In addition to her library portfolio, she is serving as the Secretariat for the NTU Provost's Council. She is currently a member of the Library Association of Singapore. She has been elected to be one of the Co-Chairs since 2021 for the Libraries for Research Data Interest Group of the Research Data Alliance. She is also an active member of the COAR Asia Open Access communityHer past work experience includes 3 years of teaching experience with the Diploma in Information Studies/Management programme in Temasek Polytechnic. She served as Vice President of the Information & Knowledge Management Society of Singapore in 2005-6 and Assistant Honorary Secretary of Library Association of Singapore in 2001.

Honours, Awards & Achievements

Su Nee was awarded the Commendation Medal by the President of the Republic of Singapore as part of the National Day Honours in 2017.

She was also awarded the LAS-APBSLG (SG) (Library Association of Singapore - Asia Pacific Business School Librarians' Group Singapore) Passion Award in 2020.
