Yasmin Munro is a Senior Medical Librarian at the Medical Library of Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine.

Yasmin started her career in 2005, as a children's librarian with the National Library Board (NLB) public libraries - conducting outreach programmes to schools, storytelling in libraries and collection development. Through the years, she has worked in various academic and school libraries as well as pursued her Master of Science in Information Studies.
In 2011, she returned to NLB as a Librarian for the NLB Academy - the training and development arm of NLB. Her key roles were programme manager and trainer for NLB's professional development courses and training library skills such as information searching, reference enquiries and the use of reference tools. She was also media literary trainer for primary and secondary schools, programme manager of NLB Academy's Media Literacy Programme, and programme administrator of the WSQ Advanced Certificate in Library and Information Studies (ACLIS) courses offered by the Academy.
After a 2-year hiatus in Doha, Qatar - Yasmin joined the LKCMedicine Medical Library as a Medical Librarian. Since 2017, she is the service lead for LKCMedicine Medical Library's Systematic Search Services (SSS) - a dedicated library consultation and training service for the LKCMedicine community, Tan Tock Seng Hospital and the National Healthcare Group. She offers library consultations to researchers, PhD students and faculty. She frequently collaborates with users in developing search methodologies for their respective publications, and has been acknowledged for her contributions as well as listed as co-author in several publications. Yasmin is also trainer and courseware developer for in-house courses on expert searching for systematic reviews.
As a Senior Medical Librarian, Yasmin mentors and provides on-the-job training to librarians in expert searching for systematic reviews. She also plays a key role in the integration of LKCMedicine's Systematic Search Services with the wider NTU community.
