Junainah is a Senior Library Executive with the Administration Team. Her current portfolio includes, amongst other responsibilities:
- Diploma in Business Practice (Administration and Management), Ngee Ann Polytechnic
- Private Secretary's Certificate, London Chamber of Commerce & Industry
- Diploma in Personnel Management, Singapore Institute of Human Resources Management
- GCE A Level, Cambridge
Junainah's experience in human resources and secretarial work had spanned more than 20 years.
She was an Executive Secretary at major investment banks, including UBS and Dresdner Banks, where she was responsible, among other things, for liaising with other departments on all HR and administration matters. She was also responsible for providing proper guidance and training to the other secretaries within the department.
Prior to joining NTU, she was the Assistant to the Director of Educational Technology with Singapore American School (SAS). She joined SAS in August 2005, starting off working within the Middle School Library Media Centre. Her portfolio included, amongst other responsibilities, managing the budget, taking minutes of meeting and managing Google Summits (events). She was also involved as a "test user". The exposures included working on a Mac platform, in web applications such as Google, Smartsheet and Basecamp.
The experience she had gained from working in multi-cultural environments, with both expatriates and locals had been very enriching.
