Systematic Searching

Self-paced user guide with practical tips for researchers conducting systematic searching

NTU Systematic Search Services

NTU Library offers an objective and independent perspective to support your systematic search. Consultations are available to all faculty, research staff, and students conducting systematic reviews from both the Yunnan and Novena campuses.

Our library staff can assist with:

  • Refining research questions
  • Recommending suitable databases or resources
  • Developing search strategies

Services available for collaboration only:

  • Translating search statements across different databases
  • Documenting search results
  • Providing guidance on the use of tools that facilitate the organisation or screening of retrieved results, e.g. Zotero, Covidence

Please note:
Collaboration services are subject to staff availability and prioritised for university research intended for publication. Systematic review screening is not included as part of these services. As these services require significant time commitment, formal acknowledgment of the library staff’s contribution must be included in any resulting publication. Co-authorship is highly encouraged.
