NTU Open Research Awards

Call for Nominations

Award Criteria

NTU research projects, research infrastructures or teaching practices that have significantly demonstrated the adoption or promotion of open research best practices in their own or across subject disciplines.

These would include making their scientific contents, tools, and processes more open, accessible, transparent, and reproducible. 

For NTU principal investigators, post-doc research staff and PhD students only.

Nomination Process

Nominations have closed end of 19 September 2022. Thank you very much to all who have submitted. Award results can be found here.

Self-nomination is encouraged.

The process for nomination is as follows:

1. Clearly identify the nominator and the applicant (individual or team).

2. Provide a brief statement (up to 1,000 words), with links to evidence, articulating how the efforts of the applicants demonstrated and/or fostered open research in their research community.

All nominators and nominees are strongly encouraged to attend the Singapore Open Research Conference on 2 November 2022.

Awardees will receive their certificates and share their open research use cases during the Singapore Open Research Conference on 2 November 2022. The Awards Committee will be in touch with them on the Award prizes.

Review Process

The NTU Open Research Awards Organising Committee and Jury will review all nominations and make the final selection of the NTU Open Research Award recipients.
