About this Service

NTU Library's Copyright Advisory Service provides information on the proper practices in the use of copyrighted materials through educational briefings and online resources such as this guide. NTU's Copyright Advisory Service also answers your basic questions on copyright. Questions may range from the use of copyrighted materials to depositing of your copyrighted publications in NTU's digital repository.

For example:

  • May I use copyrighted works in the course material that I design?
  • May I use pictures which I have found on the internet in my assignments?
  • Am I allowed to sell NTU course materials commercially?
  • My research paper is published and copyrighted. Can I still deposit it in DR-NTU?

If you have similar questions that you would like answered, feel free to contact us at library@ntu.edu.sg.
