This list is not a comprehensive list of the databases subscribed by the Library that support TDM. We will continue to update this list as more information becomes available.
Different publishers have varying policies regarding TDM. Some offer Application Programming Interface (API) access, while others require explicit agreements or prohibit bulk downloading. Do check the publishers' website for the terms of use and obtain written permission, if necessary.
Content: NTU-Library subscribed AAAS journals including Science.
TDM Policy: TDM is generally allowed for internal, non-commercial research purposes. Content may be downloaded directly from the AAAS online platform. However, the use of automated tools to download, search, scrape, extract, or disrupt the publisher's websites or access to subscribed materials is prohibited. Downloading must be limited to a "reasonable rate and speed."

TDM Policy: Non-commercial TDM, including downloading, extracting and indexing information from subscribed materials is permitted.

TDM Policy: Downloading, extracting, storing and indexing content for TDM is permitted for non-commercial research purpose. Any copies of the content accessed or reproduced for TDM must be deleted upon completion of research. Downloading large amounts of content in a short period of time is not permitted.

TDM Policy: Elsevier permits access to full-text content in XML for non-commercial TDM.
API available: Most APIs (except SciVal and Embase APIs) are available for no charge for non-commercial use, subject to Elsevier's policies and limits on usage. Request an API key via the Elsevier developers portal.

Content: Primary source collections purchased by NTU Library.
TDM Policy: TDM of Gale primary source collection for non-commercial purposes is permitted.
API available: No official API available, but you can use Gale Digital Scholar Lab to perform TDM directly with Gale's content. Make use of pre-set TDM tools to clean and analyse your data, and visualise and share your results.

TDM Policy: TDM is permitted for academic research, scholarship, or other educational purposes is permitted.
API available: IEEE Xplore APIs provide access to metadata for more than 6 million documents available in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library, including IEEE Journals, Conferences, Books, Courses, and Standards. For details on API documentation and Use Cases, go to IEEE Xplore API Portal.

TDM Policy: A copy of publication(s) or portions thereof made for non-commercial text and data mining is permitted. Any such copy should be accompanied by a sufficient acknowledgement and is promptly destroyed once it is no longer necessary.

API available: Sage includes Text and Data Mining license and full-text URL information via the CrossRef Public API.

TDM Policy: TDM non-commercial research is permitted. For TDM in the context of commercial research, Springer Nature offers standard TDM terms as well as the TDM API for a fee.

TDM Policy: TDM for non-commercial purposes is allowed at no extra cost. However, Taylor and Francis (TnF) must be notified in writing in advance of the project, to ensure that TnF can provide appropriate techical assistance and main a log of projects. Any copies of the content accessed or reproduced for TDM must be deleted once research is completed.
To carry out TDM on a commercial basis, a quote can be obtained from Taylor & Francis.
