Ying Yi is an Assistant Manager in NTU Library's User Services & Spaces Team. She supports the Library in ensuring smooth daily library operations and innovation-driven projects to enhance the library's services. Her responsibilities include executing workflow and process improvement initiatives in library operations, administering libraries' service points, and managing student assistants' recruitment and training.

Professional Experience: Prior to joining NTU Library in Feb 2022, Ying Yi was working in the education sector (IHL for adult learners and international school for students who learn differently) where she handled admissions and marketing. Her responsibilities included providing customer service, professional engagement with clients and partners, as well as planning and executing events.
Community Involvement: Ying Yi volunteered as a Trainer and Facilitator from Jul-Oct 2022, conducting free basic computer workshops for adults above 50 to help them connect with real-life applications and acquire relevant skills. (Class size: 15 adults)
Ying Yi is passionate about music, having started playing the piano at a young age and achieving a Distinction in ABRSM Grade 8 Piano. She was also elected as the Concertmaster of NTU Symphonic Band from 2016 to 2017, and received the Leadership Excellence Award from the NTU Cultural Activities Club for her outstanding contributions.
In her free time, Ying Yi enjoys engaging in outdoor activities such as cycling and team sports games with friends, as well as playing strategy and survival games at home. She likes to challenge herself and push beyond her limits in any activity she pursues.
