Introduction

Shikin is a Librarian with NTU Library's Communication and Outreach Team and her work involves communicating and promoting the library's services, resources and expertise that will effectively meet the needs of NTU community.

Professional Experience, Specialisation & Memberships

Shikin worked in the Civil Service College Library as a library intern and during this stint, her interest in librarianship grew and has since decided to make librarianship as her career. Shikin joined NTU Library in 2004 shortly after obtaining her Diploma in Information Studies from Temasek Polytechnic and continued to further her studies. She then obtained her Bachelor in Communication and Media Management from University of South Australia in 2011, followed by her Master of Science in Information Studies from Nanyang Technological University in 2013. With the qualification obtained, she advanced to become a librarian with the Communication and Outreach Team.
