Kong Meng is the Senior Assistant Director and Head of Medical Library. Besides overseeing the running of the Medical Library at Novena campus, he is the liaison librarian for the information needs for the faculty, researchers, staff and students of the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine). As LKCMedicine is part of Health City Novena community, the Medical Library is also active in engaging the community members as part of corporate citizenship.

After graduating with a bachelor degree in Civil Engineering, Kong Meng started his engineering career with a local shipyard and later with a foreign MNC working at their regional office in Singapore. Prior to joining NTU Library, Kong Meng was the Senior Manager with the NTU School of Civil & Environmental Engineering. Kong Meng became the Head of the Engineering Subject Library in 2007 and took over the operations of the Lee Wee Nam Library in 2010. He was also the Team Lead for the University Collections & Archives Team from 2017 to 2019.
Kong Meng’s professional interests include searching of technical standards and trends in library instructional services on information/digital literacy. His personal interests include military history in particular pertaining to the Second World War.
